Responsibilities

Provide speech therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate treatment plan
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans

Required

Provide speech therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate treatment plan

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and swallowing
Experience in case management, including coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
Ability to work in acute care settings, including ICU and critical care units
Excellent patient care skills, including empathy, active listening, and effective communication
Proficient in conducting patient assessments using standardized tools and measures
Speech-Language Pathology License (Required)
