Responsibilities

Provide consulting and compliance services related to state and local income and franchise tax obligations

Contribute to the development and mentorship of staff

Support clients in navigating and managing tax obligations

Strengthen the team and advance Crowe’s commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation or JD/LLM a plus

CPA or JD required

5+ years of experience in public accounting

Strong state tax background, including experience with consolidated C corporations, partnerships, and S corporations

Experience with state and local income tax compliance and consulting, including apportionment, state modifications, nexus considerations, unitary/combined reporting, and state-level tax planning

Strong organizational, communication, and management skills, with proven experience leading teams and engagements

Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and communicate complex state tax issues clearly and effectively
