Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership to fund accounting teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery to private equity and private markets clients
Oversee the successful onboarding and long-term integration of new clients, aligning operational models with business goals
Guide the design and review of complex carried interest and distribution waterfall models, providing insights that drive client value
Serve as a subject matter expert on private equity fund structures, governing documents, and partnership agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Partner with clients and senior stakeholders to deliver financial and investor reporting that meets the highest standards of transparency and timeliness
Lead the annual audit process, managing key relationships with clients and external auditors, while mitigating risks and resolving challenges
Drive operational excellence by implementing scalable processes, systems, and controls to support business growth
Collaborate with senior leadership in business development, helping to shape solutions for prospective clients and expand SS&C’s private equity platform
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
12+ years of progressive experience in private equity or private markets fund accounting
3+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and developing large teams
Proven ability to lead strategically, influence stakeholders, and build long-term client relationships
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent SS&C at an executive level
Track record of driving process improvements, managing complex projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel expertise required
Preferred
CPA designation and/or MBA preferred
