Teach ESOL courses to pre-beginning, intermediate, and advanced level adult learners
Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, and grammar at all levels to adult ESL students

Qualification

Degree in TESL/TEFLExperience teaching ESL/ENLD2L BrightspaceExperience using online platformsTeach in personMore than one languageWritten communication skills

Required

Master's Degree in TESL/TEFL or a related field
At least three years of experience teaching ESL/ENL
Strong written and communication skills
Willingness to teach mornings or evenings
Ability to teach in person and online
Experience working with people of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Philosophy of education appropriate for the adult learner

Preferred

Doctoral Degree in Higher Education, Adult Education, TESL/TEFL, Applied Linguistics or a related field
At least five years of experience teaching ESL/ENL in adult education, higher education, and/or IEP settings
Knowledge of D2L Brightspace and Banner
Experience using online platforms/instructional technology
Knowledge of TABE Clas-E testing
Proficiency in more than one language
