Conduct prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses

Analyze patents and scientific papers to assist patent attorneys on patent prosecution, counseling, and litigation

Draft patent applications and responses to office actions

Participate in post-grant procedures at the USPTO

Qualification

Required

Ph.D in Cellular & Molecular Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field

Superb technical, written and verbal communication skills in English

Broad scientific knowledge in biotechnology

Work well with others

Registered USPTO patent agent or eligible to sit for the USPTO registration exam
