Start in 2026 SummerCDM Smith is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern to join their CEI team. The intern will work with a team of engineers on various public, federal, and industrial projects, focusing on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and computer-aided design and drafting.
Responsibilities
Researching, compiling and examining a variety of transportation data
Supporting Transportation Engineering studies with a focus on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and computer aided design and drafting
Performing engineering calculations and analyses under supervision
Proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports as well as specifications
Assisting staff with a variety of projects and/or field assignments
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree
An appropriate and valid driver's license is required
