InternChristian Wellness Center of NJ is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals for a Mental Health Internship. This opportunity is designed to provide hands-on experience in mental health counseling, where interns will work closely with experienced professionals to contribute to the well-being of clients.

Responsibilities
Assist in conducting individual and group counseling sessions under the supervision of licensed professionals
Collaborate with the mental health team to develop and implement treatment plans
Administer assessments and screenings to clients to identify their mental health needs
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards
Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance professional development
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a graduate program for counseling or social work
Has met the college requirements to participate in a practicum/internship
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathy and a genuine interest in helping individuals facing mental health challenges
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
