MANTECH is seeking enthusiastic and talented Cybersecurity Interns for their fast-paced Cybersecurity and System Engineering Operations Center in Fairmont, WV. In this role, interns will protect critical networks and systems from cyber threats while gaining exposure to a variety of cybersecurity disciplines.

Responsibilities

Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) tools to detect and analyze potential security incidents

Investigate and analyze network traffic and system logs to identify signs of malicious activity

Assist the incident response team with containing, eradicating, and recovering from cyber incidents

Learn and support the administration of Linux and Windows systems and network devices

Help manage and maintain various cybersecurity tools and platforms

Required

U.S. Citizen with an active US Top Secret clearance or eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Current full-time student pursuing a BS/MS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field with a projected expected graduation date after December 2026

Demonstrated interest in Cybersecurity as seen in academic projects, positions or extracurricular activities

Demonstrated academic or professional experience tackling complex technical challenges
