Responsibilities
Assist with damage assessment and cause and origin investigations
Prepare field notes, feasibility studies, and specifications
Complete technical and investigative reports to support forensic findings and prepare materials related to presentations for key stakeholders
Perform the required structural calculations, designs, and equipment selections for a broad range of project types
Perform peer reviews and condition assessments
Qualification
Required
Degree (Master's preferred) in structural engineering or related field; an undergraduate degree is required
At least four years of experience related to forensic structural engineering or new construction
Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally
Basic knowledge of finite element modeling
Proficient in Revit; experience with AutoCAD a plus
Preferred
Professional Engineer and/or SE License preferred
Field experience with diverse building types preferred
