Responsibilities
Travel to client locations to diagnose, service, and repair FBS security doors and windows, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction
Utilize mechanical skills to address structural components, including adjustments, alignments, and hardware replacements
Handle the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of low-voltage electronic components integrated into our products, such as motorized systems and access controls
Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of issues, services performed, and any necessary follow-up
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and client interactions
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3–5 years in a service technician role, preferably within the door and window industry or related fields involving mechanical and low-voltage systems
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction principles, and structural components
Proficiency in working with low-voltage systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and repair
Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions promptly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service and professionalism
Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various environments, and travel to client sites as needed
Valid driver's license required; relevant certifications in low-voltage systems or mechanical repair are a plus
