Government Account Executive, Wireless

C Spire is dedicated to improving lives through technology and is looking for a Government Account Executive to manage and grow government wireless accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue, retention, and relationship development with local government and educational institutions, ensuring their wireless needs are met.

Responsibilities

Responsible for direct management, sales, retention and revenue growth to all Local Wireless Government Accounts
Manage and support the business plan and sales strategy developed by Senior Management
Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect opportunities including RFPs and quotes
Assist Senior Management in maintaining accurate records of pricing, sales, and activity reports
Implement action plans developed to penetrate new markets, measuring success through customer acquisition and revenue
Ensure ongoing face-to-face contact with customers on a scheduled basis
Assist the Wireless State Contract and Operational Team with State Agency Accounts
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualification

Sales experienceWireless telecommunicationsGovernment account managementMicrosoft Office proficiencyCommunication skills

Required

Proven sales experience including quota attainment, sales forecasting, and appointment setting
Experience in wireless and telecommunications
Strong working relationships with local government accounts and K–12 schools
A minimum of 5 years of wireless sales experience
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
All qualifications required for Account Executive I
A minimum of 12 years of wireless sales experience
Proven success managing high-value government and education accounts
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

A college degree
Established relationships with government and education accounts in the designated work area
