Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Per Diem

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will deliver safe patient care during procedures in Nuclear Cardiology, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the quality of diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities
Perform cardiology nuclear stress testing, calibration and quality control procedures
Organize the nuclear stress schedule. Maintain and order nuclear equipment and supplies
Produce and process accurate diagnostic images for interpretation
Participate in updating and developing all policies and procedures for nuclear cardiology testing
Maintain all isotope records and properly dispose radioactive waste
Participate in maintaining and cleaning hot lab, patient prep area, and scan area before, during and after procedures
Assist with ACR or other accreditation process
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience is preferred
Cardiac SPECT experience required
Nuclear cardiology stress testing required
Graduate of a program in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certified required
ACLS required
Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
Excellent computer skills
Full working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment and Radiation Physics
Preferred
PET and Cardiac CT imaging experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
