Outside Sales - Power Generation Equipment

Interstate Companies, Inc. is a dynamic organization with a commitment to excellence in Power Generation and Heavy Diesel Construction Equipment. They are seeking a proactive Power Generation Equipment and Service Sales Representative to generate new business, maintain client relationships, and promote power generation equipment and service contracts in Montana and Western North Dakota.

Transportation

Responsibilities

Promote and sell power generation equipment and service contracts in Montana and Western North Dakota
Secure orders for new equipment and service contracts from both new and existing customers
Identify and develop relationships with new customers to increase market share
Provide technical support and solutions for customers’ power generation needs
Build and maintain connections with contractors, engineering firms, and facility managers to promote Interstate Power Systems’ offerings
Act as a liaison between customers and the company to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction

Required

Minimum of 3 years of recent, relevant outside sales experience
Experience in power generation, generators, distribution, industrial, or heavy-duty equipment is highly preferred
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to create and execute effective business plans
Proven sales experience, ideally in power generation, generators, or heavy-duty equipment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Willingness to travel overnight as needed
