Responsibilities
Write product or system development code. Design, develop and launch complex new systems and data processing pipelines. Develop, maintain, and optimize large scale data processing pipelines to improve system performance and reliability
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
Innovate solutions to improve conversion measurements, attribution, and conversion modeling
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience with software development in C++, back-end or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
Preferred
2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging
Experience developing accessible technologies
Experience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering
Experience in Large Scale Distributed Systems, Flume, Large Scale Data Processing, Back-end, SQL, Pod, and Ads
Experience with advertising products and quality work within Google Ads, GA4 (Google Analytics 4), or GMP (Google Marketing Platform)
Ability to work across teams/organizations and plumb through multiple large pieces of infrastructure
