Responsibilities
Design and deploy state-of-the-art perception algorithms for autonomous systems, enabling robust object detection, classification, and tracking
Work extensively with various sensor modalities, including cameras, and LiDAR, to create a comprehensive understanding of the operational environment
Develop and implement advanced sensor fusion techniques to combine data from multiple sensors, increasing the accuracy and reliability of the perception system
Build, train, and validate deep learning models for tasks such as semantic segmentation, object detection, and behavioral prediction
Optimize perception algorithms for real-time performance on our NVIDIA-based embedded systems (e.g., Jetson, Orin)
Collaborate closely with the planning and control teams to ensure seamless integration of perception data into the decision-making and navigation stack
Stay at the forefront of computer vision and machine learning research, applying cutting-edge techniques to solve challenging perception problems
Qualification
Required
You hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. A Master's or Ph.D. is a strong plus
You have 8+ years of industry experience in perception engineering, computer vision, or a related area within autonomous systems
You have hands-on experience with sensor data processing from cameras, and LiDAR
You have a proven track record of developing and deploying perception algorithms for real-world robotic systems
Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities
