Responsibilities
Learn the full spectrum of a project from defining, designing, developing, demonstrating and delivering a PLC/HMI based control systems
Learn how to write structured, well-documented, bug-free PLC code
Learn how to design intuitive, easy-to-navigate, aesthetically pleasing HMI interfaces
By the end of year one you will be able to work on a variety of projects developing PLC code or HMI screens
High level language programming for a variety of applications. This includes .NET, Java, Python, C, C++, etc
Learn and identify various SCADA packages and SCADA terminology
Learn and identify various industrial MES packages and MES terminology such as OEE, Recipe management, downtime tracking, track and trace
Work in project teams ranging from 2-10 people with various technology backgrounds and tenure’s
Qualification
Required
BS in electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field. Pretty much any engineering field will do
The ability to learn quickly!
Ability to travel up to 20%
