Electrical Engineer – Research & Development
STgenetics is a biotechnology engineering and manufacturing company that designs and develops cutting edge cell sorting platforms. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on a team developing new devices and measurement systems for use in various fields, specializing in electrical engineering design aspects of technology development and product improvement.

Responsibilities
Work within a cross-functional team of engineers to design and develop cell measurement systems
Support R&D efforts by designing and executing experiments and analyzing results
Work closely with optical, software and systems engineers to troubleshoot and debug issues
Write electrical engineering specifications and test plans
Design, build and own prototypes to test and validate new concepts
Build and test electrical assemblies, components and test fixtures
Familiarity processing analog & digital signals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, physics or related technical discipline; Master's degree is a plus
1+ years of professional design engineering experience
Experience in the design and development of complex electromechanical and optoelectronic systems
Proficient in Altium or equivalent
Experience troubleshooting circuit boards and soldering/desoldering components
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to produce presentations using Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a highly collaborative and cross-disciplinary team
Highly motivated and able to work independently
