They are seeking highly motivated Industrial Hygiene Interns for their Summer 2026 intern program, where interns will assist project managers and team leaders in hazardous material inspections and safety audits.

Responsibilities

Assist with hazardous building material inspections for asbestos, lead paint, PCBs and other hazardous/regulated materials

Perform indoor air quality and moisture intrusion assessments, industrial hygiene qualitative and quantitative assessments, chemical and noise exposure

Assist with Abatement/Demolition Oversight

Assist with Safety Audits, LOTO, confined space assessments, and other safety oversight related tasks

Support various project tasks by performing data entry/management, writing reports, etc

Will frequently be performing duties as part of a team in the field at client buildings, construction sites, roadways, bridges, etc

Will be supported by leaders, mentors and teammates

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary

Required

Must be at least 21 years old

Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, Health Science, Toxicology, Safety, or related science field

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills

Ability to adjust to changing daily schedule (work is normal day shifts, but locations change regularly)

Have your own reliable Motor Vehicle (Majority of daily travel will be to sites throughout the State of Connecticut with the potential for day travel to Massachusetts or other neighboring states)

Self-motivated, solution-focused, detail orientated person

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow

Preferred

HAZWOPER 40-hour training

OSHA 10 or 30-hour Training

Applicants for this intern role must possess a clean driving record
