Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of subject matter experts, learning program developers, content developers, eLearning developers, and quality control specialists

Execute a strategic vision for learning and development that aligns with the company's goals and objectives

Oversee the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive learning programs, including online, blended, and instructor-led training

Ensure the quality and consistency of learning content through rigorous quality control processes

Collaborate with product teams to understand learning needs and develop content that effectively addresses those needs

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches into our programs

Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for learning initiatives

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the learning team

Required

10+ years of experience

Applicants are required to read, write, and speak English

This position requires a security clearance

Expertise in instructional design, eLearning development, and content creation

Proven experience in a leadership role within learning and development, with a strong track record of managing teams and delivering successful learning programs

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Experience with accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG 2.0 to ensure all learning content is inclusive and accessible to all users

Knowledge of current trends and best practices in learning and development

Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies

Passion for continuous learning and professional development
