Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and guidance for project conception, design approach and work production

Perform structural design - produce construction drawings, project manuals, reports, etc

Perform site / facility field assessments and on-site construction inspection

Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control reviews for work produced by team staff and others

Direct our Structural Team operations, best practices, and work production

Schedule and manage Team workload

Implement and monitor design approach

Staff management, training and development

Work with other discipline leads and management to provide business / billing projections and projected staff additions

Manage team financials

Review report staff performance evaluations

Manage and assist others in preparing professional service work scope proposals and estimated design fees

Participate in and develop Team marketing strategies and identify target markets and clients

Network with others to develop leads and establish partnerships with internal and external clients

Required

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum 15 years of experience

Technical skills in communications, problem solving, design and construction documentation, code analysis and engineering judgment

Ability to mentor and guide other technical professionals

Provide technical expertise and guidance for project conception, design approach and work production

Perform structural design - produce construction drawings, project manuals, reports, etc

Perform site / facility field assessments and on-site construction inspection
