Sr. Service Account Manager

Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking a Sr. Service Account Manager who will act as the primary contact in the estimating process and oversee a team of Service Account Managers. The role involves managing client relationships, leading project engagements, and ensuring the accuracy of estimates while having a strong understanding of the construction process.

Responsibilities

The SSAM will be the primary contact in the entire estimating process on content and scope of each estimate they produce
SSAM will be responsible for his team of SAM’s, RPE, and SA-T. They are the SSAM’s direct reports. Their sales, activity, etc. are the SSAM’s direct responsibility to monitor and grow the team (customer share)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions, change order management and association involvement (on committees within associations)
As the SSAM they will be responsible for contract scope verification, client relationship and overall project engagement from start to finish. This includes coordinating and leading client education and client meetings
The SSAM will be responsible for sales of remedial work of $150k jobs and greater

Must have a specific understanding of construction process for new construction and remedial projects within the scope of work (codes, wind uplift pressures, thermal and moisture intrusion, materials, and methods, etc.)
The SSAM will be responsible for sales of remedial work of $150k jobs and greater
If applicant does not have a four-year degree, they must have a minimum of ten (10) years construction experience with at least five (5) years of estimating experience
Estimating software proficiency, Microsoft office, English speaking
Must meet all requirements of SAM
Ability to interpret, understand and train others on construction documents
Understand specific construction items (as listed in Job Description)
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Problem solving and dispute resolution skills
Strong work ethic/self-starter
Advanced negotiation and relationship building skills (has current client base)
Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin
Strong time management skills (able to help manage employees and projects)
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping bending, lifting, etc.)
Must be able to lift 50lbs(including set up ladders) and work in inclement weather conditions
Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
