Responsibilities
Provide legal representation to clients, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario and counseling clients appropriately
Respond to client concerns to increase and retain business
Participate in industry organizations and affiliated committees to increase the firm’s visibility in the community and within the industry
Ability to handle complex matters on one’s own and/or as a lead attorney with little supervision
Ability to develop executive level client confidence to retain current firm clients
Ability to contribute to a positive and respectful working environment
Billable hours requirement is 1650
Represent the firm internally and externally
Other duties as needed to support the legal and management goals of the department
Qualification
Required
J.D. and an active California Bar license
3-5+ years of experience as a licensed California attorney
Previous litigation experience required; trial experience preferred
Ability to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topics
Ability to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently
Preferred
Previous experience in landlord-tenant matters
Previous experience with real estate law
