They are seeking a hands-on, driven Production Engineer early in their career to join their production team, where the role involves optimizing processes and solving real-world problems on the production floor.

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor advanced production equipment used in clean metals processing
Perform in-process checks and adjustments to ensure consistent product quality
Collect, analyze, and report production data to support process improvements
Perform basic mechanical and operational troubleshooting on production systems
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and uptime
Conduct equipment startups, shutdowns, and transitions between production runs
Work closely with shift leads and operators to ensure operational excellence
Support new process development and implementation on the floor
Uphold and enforce safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safe operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in operating and understanding industrial equipment
Willingness to learn, take direction, and quickly adapt to new systems and processes
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic production setting
Must be able to work in a 24/7 facility (rotating shifts); initial training will be conducted in Burlington, MA
