Responsibilities

Lead and manage mine-related projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets

Conduct and contribute to technical and economic feasibility studies for new and existing mining operations

Participate in and lead mine safety audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external safety standards

Provide technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on mine planning, engineering design, and operational improvements

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geology, metallurgy, environmental, and finance to support project development

Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer across the engineering team

Perform other duties as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering and five (5) years of related experience in engineering or a related field, OR

Master's degree in Mining or Geological Engineering and three (3) years of related experience

Hands-on experience within the last five (5) years in at least two of the following: mine planning, project management, feasibility analysis, geomechanical control, or engineering supervision

Strong knowledge of mine engineering principles and project management methodologies

Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver results

Skilled in conducting feasibility studies and technical evaluations

Strong understanding of mine safety standards and audit processes

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Proficiency in mine planning and engineering software
