They are seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer responsible for designing and leading building automation projects, overseeing a team of engineers, and ensuring successful project execution from design to onsite startup.

Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance and act as a part of the leadership team for a project team of 25 engineers
Identify and assign tasks within the project team
Assist with change order generation by estimating hardware costs and the engineering effort required for changes in project scope
Create instrument lists by examining P&ID drawings
Evaluate instrumentation (temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow meter, valve actuators, etc…) and select devices appropriate for the project
Evaluate and select controls hardware appropriate for the project
Compile submittal documentation for controls and instrument hardware
Create panel layouts and electrical schematics for controls enclosures
Procure project hardware
Provide technical support for panel fabrication technicians
Inspect completed control enclosures
Lead customer design review meetings
Configure user interface and HMI screens
Configure DDC, PLC and/or DCS control algorithms
Execute internal functional and quality control testing
Draft system documentation
Assist is customer demonstrations and acceptance testing
Install project software and configuration onto site systems
Participate in point to point loop checks for all instrumentation
Perform software calibration and tuning
Conduct functional tests of all systems
Troubleshoot installation discrepancies
Support additional customer testing
Program field modifications as required
Train customer representatives on operations and maintenance of system
Qualification
Required
Expertise in any of the following control systems & software platforms: Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, Factory Talk), Schneider (Modicon, AVEVA, Citect, PI, Wonderware/Archestra), Inductive Automation Ignition, Distech, Niagara
Electrical low voltage installation and subcontractor management experience
Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems, HVAC sequences of operation, P&IDs, instrumentation & control valves, and plant utility systems including chiller & boiler plants, and electrical switchgear & single line diagrams detailing distribution of electricity throughout a facility
Onsite commissioning experience
Understanding of Good Automated Manufacturing Practices (GAMP)
