Responsibilities
Act as an ETL development subject matter expert utilizing Informatica IDMC (CDI and CAI), Power Center, & IDEM
Design solutions based on business requirements
Develop, document, test, and troubleshoot data environment using ETL tool sets
Analyze system components to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
Follow company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs
Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents
Review functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provide feedback
Participate in architecture, design and code reviews
Develop and maintain operational and system level documentation
Qualification
Required
Highly skilled Informatica Developer
Act as an ETL development subject matter expert utilizing Informatica IDMC (CDI and CAI), Power Center, & IDEM
Designing solutions, translating business requirements, developing, documenting, testing, troubleshooting data environment using ETL tool sets
Analyze system components to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs
Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents
Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback
Participates in architecture, design and code reviews
Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation
Receive secure code training each calendar year as required by the US Department Of Agriculture Risk Management Agency, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, the New York Department Of Financial Services CyberSecurity Regulation, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council's IT Examination Handbook, and best practices defined by the Center for Internet Security and the National Institute of Standards and Technology
Preferred
Experience developing with Informatica PowerCenter, designing and developing Informatica workflows for enterprise system(s), deployment of Informatica to production environment, and writing scripts to manage/move/schedule files in accordance to Informatica integration
Minimum 5 or more years of experience working in a medium or large operating environment supporting Informatica
Minimum 4 years of SQL experience (ability to develop, modify, troubleshoot and optimize complex queries and stored procedures)
Deep understanding of relational/dimensional data modeling and data mapping design, integration, migration and warehousing
Design and Implementation of ETL solutions with effective design and optimized performance, ETL Development with industry standard recommendations for jobs recovery, fail over, logging, alerting mechanisms
Preferred development background with Java, J2EE, Database building, SQL scripting and Management: DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, Mapping and Workflow Tools
Preferred experiencing developing with Azure Data Factory
Previous experience in the banking and insurance industry preferred
