Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures of the breast, including mammography, image guide for biopsy, and image guide for localization
Assist the radiologist, cardiologist, and/or clinician during radiologic procedures, including invasive and non-invasive studies
Inform the patient of the procedure to be done and instructs the patient on participation required to produce an optimal exam
Transport unit to patient’s room when necessary
Qualification
Required
High School or equivalent
2+ years Diagnostic Radiology Technology
AMA approved school of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
Current CRT (R) (M) licenses
