Interns will provide skills services to clients under supervision, maintain documentation, and collaborate with external providers.

Responsibilities

The student intern works under the direct supervision of the agency’s qualified site supervisor
All services provided by the Intern will be reviewed by the Supervisor
Provide skills services to children, adults, and families
Maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with external providers
Seek supervisory as needed
Attend trainings for skill maintenance
Participate in staff meetings and group supervision
Uphold Fernbrook's mission and policies
Perform other assigned duties

Required

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, car insurance, and acceptable driving record
Pass criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services requirements

Proficiency in computer usage

Ability to tailor your hours to meet the internship requirements between 7:00am – 7:00pm

Able to work up to 40 hours per week, with overtime approval required
