Responsibilities

Own testing within Archer’s various integrated labs from planning stages through execution and reporting
Utilize lab test equipment and Archer’s simulation environment to setup test cases, validate system requirements, and investigate issues
Lead collaborative efforts with aircraft system engineers to develop test plans and procedures
Assist in the coordination of integrated lab test scheduling
Develop and maintain integrated test lab operating procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related field
6+ years of experience in aircraft system integration and test, or related field
Technical understanding of test equipment (Scopes, Meters, and Sensors) for applicable use in a lab environment to drive tests to completion
Wholistic understanding of aircraft systems and their impact on higher level vehicle capability
Ability to develop and execute aircraft system verification and validation procedures
Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, A429, Serial (RS-485/RS-422/RS-232), and Ethernet
Positive and collaborative communication style
Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Experience with HIL and/or real-time simulation environments
Proficiency in Python and its use to develop custom test automation and data processing tools
