Responsibilities
Assist in the setting of tables completely according to diagram and/or sample table
Assist in setting buffet stations which may include décor
Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques
Keep work area clean, and coordinate actions with the banquet captain to ensure flawless customer service
Managing time effectively
Assist in managing inventory of equipment and with set up and breakdown of events
Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques
Reporting to the Banquet Captain and performing any tasks assigned in order to execute a flawless event
Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene
Performs other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
1+ year in a banquet or Front of House experience
Excellent listening and communication skills
Renowned time management and organization skills
Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client's needs
The ability to work alone and as a team
Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines
Prolonged periods of standing, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue
Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs
Preferred
Experience in high volume catering is preferred
