Responsibilities

Work as part of the HV team for electrical substation design projects

Work closely with other disciplines and support/lead FEED design and detailed design for substation refurbishment/extensions and new-build projects

Engage with key T&D clients in the UK

Develop innovative and sustainable solutions to industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges

Coach and work within the wider energy team

Share knowledge, promote ideas, and value the contribution of all team members

Qualification

Electrical EngineeringHV Substation DesignPower Systems DesignP&C AspectsTeam Collaboration

Required

Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience as HV Substation / Primary Plant Design Engineer

Overall experience of design and specification production for HV Substation plant electrical power systems and associated power system components

Understanding of P&C aspects

Knowledge and understanding of the electricity transmission and distribution industry

Capability to coach and work within the wider energy team

Engaged in the engineering community and understanding of innovative solutions and industry best practices

Proactive with a willingness to learn

Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related technical field
