Mechanical Engineer, Fluidics/Perfusion

Until is a moonshot company focused on organ-scale reversible cryopreservation. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware to support this innovative approach to organ preservation.

Track record of exceptional engineering abilities
Deep understanding of heat and mass transfer principles
Experience designing fluidic systems for perfusion/heat exchangers
High degree of autonomy across full engineering stack: electromechanical design and fabrication, control software, physical modeling
Desire to join a fast-paced, scrappy engineering team

Required

Preferred

3+ years experience/graduate level in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
Experience with organ perfusion in a research or clinical context
Experience working in a startup
