Responsibilities
Perform routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation
Respond to sleep patients’ procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate education utilizing sleep center specific protocols
Adhere to sleep center policies and procedures
Inspect and maintain sleep study related equipment and inventory
Review and evaluate sleep studies and provide appropriate feedback to staff
Assist the medical director, clinical director and/or manager in all aspects of sleep center operations
Qualification
Required
Current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist
At least one year experience as a sleep technologist
Be registered by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC (Certification by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC does NOT satisfy this qualification.)
Maintain current CPR or BLS certification
Preferred
Qualification to obtain, or possession of the CCSH (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) preferred
