The Software Development Engineer in Test will validate firmware functionality, ensuring features operate reliably and meet performance and safety requirements through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans based on requirements
Develop and implement automated tests on complex embedded systems
Operate in multiple test layers optimized for efficiency, managing
Manage test suites across multiple CI framework
Develop new firmware tests / review and refine existing firmware tests

Qualification

Embedded firmware testingObject-oriented programmingPythonC++Functional safety standardsInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

BS in relevant engineering discipline
2+ Years of relevant experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience developing/testing embedded firmware
Object-oriented programming experience (Python preferred)

Preferred

Experience developing in C++
Experience with Python test frameworks (pytest, etc.)
Experience with one or more functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 62304, IEC 61508, DO-178)
