Responsibilities

Conduct theoretical research in quantum optics

Possess knowledge of the Boltzmann and quantum Boltzmann equations, and stimulated Brillouin and Raman scattering

Study excimer lasers for laser inertial fusion energy

Contribute to IQSE projects on quantum heat engines, quantum gravity, and entanglement

Write scientific papers, present at conferences, and prepare presentations

Supervise, train, and mentor graduate students

Assist with hosting Institute visitors and supporting IQSE-sponsored activities

Qualification

Required

PhD in Physics, optics, or photonics

Proven record of research in the corresponding area and strong publications

Excellent scientific writing ability

Good communication skills

Expertise with nonlinear optics, plasma physics, and ultrafast lasers

Knowledge of scientific programming language(s) and computer simulation
