Responsibilities
Build awareness of Render with blog series, video tutorials, sample apps, and social bites that drive signups from professional developers at high-growth startups
Own end-to-end tutorials from concept to code, docs, and video, with clear next steps that inspire developers to build with Render
Script, film, and produce short, polished video walkthroughs and demo reels that scale across our channels
Shape our content roadmap as a senior partner to Engineering, Product, and Marketing—define themes, set the quality bar, and iterate on feedback and metrics
Qualification
Required
Excellent AI-enhanced writing with great taste. You know what world-class content looks like and can use tools like Cursor and Claude to ship quality work on a regular cadence
Full-stack engineering experience. You have strong backend skills (Node.js, Python, Postgres), comfort with Docker containers, and enough frontend chops to build sample apps end-to-end
Polished video production skills. You can script and record video tutorials for developers that teach them how to build something new
5–10 years building developer content or as an engineer-turned-educator at an early-stage developer tools or infrastructure startup
A love of high-quality, well-crafted user experiences and a strong intuition for developer tools
Preferred
You've used Render before, either professionally or on side projects
Experience building AI applications like agents, MCP servers, or inference workflows
Excellent online presentation skills for workshops and technical talks
