The Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Neurosurgery will work in Dr. Xuefang Ren's laboratory focusing on brain injury mechanisms and contribute to research through bioinformatic analyses, statistical evaluations, and manuscript preparation.

Responsibilities
Conduct bioinformatic analyses with RNA-sequencing related to single-cell genomics, spatial transcriptomics, etc
Experience in Linux High-Performance Computing
Perform statistical analyses and summarize research findings
Prepare manuscripts and grant applications
Plans and conducts experiments, analyzes data, and prepares publications describing results
Assists in training and mentoring of lab personnel, including graduate students and other trainees
Reads and evaluates literature
Possess interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels
Have strong written and oral communication skills
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Doctoral/Terminal Degree

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects
