Sound Point Capital Management, a New York based credit-oriented investment manager, is seeking an Analyst or Associate of Wealth Distribution to act as internal sales support. The role involves partnering with senior relationship managers to cultivate new relationships and accelerate the adoption of alternative investment offerings.

Responsibilities

Support senior relationship managers to cultivate and expand the firm's existing relationships with the universe of wealth management platforms, RIAs, independent broker-dealers and family offices

Assisting senior sales in pre-meeting preparation and post meeting debriefing

Scheduling in-person and virtual meetings, taking notes, maintaining pipelines, managing CRM

Develop and maintain strong working knowledge about the firm's investment process and product offerings

Required

2+ years experience: with a preference towards asset management, wealth management, or alternative investment management

Passion for and willingness to learn about the alternative credit space and this role

Strong skills in Microsoft Office/Excel/PDF

Demonstrated ability to work productively in a team environment; understands the importance of internal partnership, especially with portfolio managers and other marketers

Ability to communicate across all levels of the firm

Highly motivated professional with the ability to manage priorities, react to opportunities and deliver results
