Responsibilities
Technical consulting and advisory services to power project developers to support new utility-scale solar, wind, gas, battery energy storage, and other projects
Independent engineering and due diligence services for lenders and investors to evaluate the financing of new power and infrastructure projects
Technical, economic, and market studies for grid operators, utilities, and research agencies
Planning studies and business case development for utilities, independent power producers, and government agencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering (other engineering disciplines may be considered)
7 or more years of experience in the power industry
Design of utility-scale solar, wind, and/or battery energy storage projects
Independent engineering and due diligence services for power projects
Power project development
Solar, wind, and/or battery energy storage construction management
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Experience writing technical reports and proposals
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others
Project planning and leadership skills
Preferred
Master's degree in an engineering discipline or business (e.g., MBA)
Experience in project finance or financial modeling of power projects
Experience with owner's engineering activities during power project execution
