Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new municipal water projects through research, industry events, and lead platforms. Build and maintain a robust project pipeline aligned with growth targets
Develop strong relationships with municipalities, contractors, and engineering firms to position Harrington as the preferred partner
Lead qualification and pursuit strategies, coordinate proposals and submittals, and partner with vendors to secure product approvals
Oversee handoff to execution teams, monitor timelines and milestones, and ensure compliance with municipal requirements
Track competitor activity, analyze pipeline health, and provide updates to regional leadership. Share customer feedback and market trends to support strategy
Collaborate with vendor partners and internal teams to align on project strategies and long-term growth opportunities
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within waterworks, distribution, or related industries
Knowledge of municipal water systems and project cycles strongly preferred
Proven ability to manage complex projects and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management tools
