Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Activities
Provide in-depth technical expertise on Yokogawa Flow and Pressure products
Collaborate with the sales (direct and indirect) team to provide technical consultations and support (troubleshooting, application optimization, and usage guidance )during the pre-sales process
Demonstrate product capabilities, emphasizing their relevance to customer needs
Address technical questions and objections to facilitate the sales process
Serve as the primary contact for resolving pre-sales technical queries
Training & Education
Conduct on-site and virtual pre-sales product training sessions for direct and indirect sales team
Conduct Lunch&Learn sessions at end user sites
Collaboration & Feedback Loop
Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing feedback to product management to improve offerings
Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide strategic insights
Travel Requirements
Travel to customer sites, conferences, and trade shows as needed – minimum 50% of the time
Qualification
Required
Technical Program or Bachelor's degree in engineering, or relevant field
5+ years of experience in a similar technical, application, or customer-facing role
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations and trainings
Proficiency in Pressure and Flow instrumentation products
Self-motivated
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally
