Responsibilities

Lead multiple engineering teams to define the vision, strategy, and execution plan for ML infrastructure stack

Deliver highly extensible systems that fuel personalized discovery at global scale

Architect infrastructure that dramatically improves the agility, usability, and extensibility of ML solutions

Partner with scientists and product managers to streamline the model development lifecycle from research to production

Build ML infrastructure and establish MLOps practices that enable rapid experimentation and deployment of AI/ML models

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists and applied scientists

Ensure AI-driven solutions are scalable, reliable, and responsible while continuously innovating to deliver delightful customer experiences

Required

10+ years of engineering experience

5+ years of engineering team management experience

10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience

Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Experience partnering with product or program management teams

Hands-on experience with machine learning infrastructure, retrieval/recommendation systems, large-language model and/or generative AI, as well as partnering with applied science teams

Preferred

Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field

Experience with AWS infrastructure and services
