Responsibilities

Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, including routers and switches

Update and configure antivirus software and other tools to secure the network

Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) updates to switches and follow Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies

Design and plan Cisco NEXUS network infrastructure, including setup and ongoing maintenance

Configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for switch administration

Use network monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds to oversee network performance

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule between 6:00am-6:00pm and may be assigned to an evening patching schedule

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and Twelve (12) years of experience as a Network Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, three (3) years of additional Network Administration experience with an Associates degree may be substituted OR eight (8) years of additional experience and a High School Diploma

Demonstrated experience downloading software and upgrading Cisco switches and firewalls

Strong technical background in Cisco FirePower Firewalls

IAT II certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment. Acceptable certifications include CCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/ or SSCP)

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule between 6:00am-6:00pm and may be assigned to an evening patching schedule

Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

The candidate must be able to move, carry, and deliver workstations from the office to the customer's desk

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual meetings, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
