DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes Specialist

The role involves designing, automating, and maintaining reliable platforms while ensuring high availability, performance, and security across environments.

Telecommunications

Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
Containerization and Orchestration: Implement and monitor containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for scalable deployments
Monitoring and Incident Response: Set up and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix ) to ensure high availability and quickly resolve production issues
Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards
Collaboration: Work closely with developers and IT teams to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and troubleshoot deployment or infrastructure issues
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automate manual tasks, and stay current with emerging DevOps technologies and best practices
Technical Support: Provide Level 2 technical support for deployment and production issues

Qualification

Required

Experience in scripting and automation (vSphere, ESXi, etc.)
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl)
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Possess a valid drivers license
Ability and willingness to travel independently

Preferred

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred, but not required if experience is strong)
