Branch Manager

Central Bank is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee the profitability and efficient operation of their banking center. The role includes hiring and developing staff, implementing sales and marketing plans, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations while fostering a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for understanding and training staff to develop expertise relating to numerous retail banking products and procedures
Actively train and motivate staff to ensure they can accommodate all customer requests and can successfully expand customer relationships based on customer needs
Actively call on new and prospective business customers, exploring needs and cross-selling bank products and services that are in the best interest of the customer and that achieve their financial objectives
Responsible for generating loan and investment referrals to other lines of business based on the broader needs of customers
Acquire and maintain thorough understanding and management of all security and operational procedures
Ensure that standard operating procedures are being followed and provide guidance and training to branch personnel on operating problems, handling of exceptions, compliance and regulatory issues relating to teller and customer service areas (i.e., Bank Secrecy Act, Regulations CC, E, DD, P, etc.)
Recruit and develop staff to ensure proper staffing levels
Ensure accurate and complete performance management reviews and individual development plans are completed on a consistent and timely basis
Conduct regular staff meetings to review goals, challenges, policies, procedures, and updates of activities within the bank
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities
May be assigned work or training at other assigned locations
Consistently meet the expectations defined in Central Bank’s six standards of Living Legendary

Required

Bachelor's degree: or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Background in bank operating policies and procedures, banking regulations, employee development and sales. Thorough knowledge of bank products and services
Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills for leading and developing a staff
Superior verbal, reading, listening, and written communication skills. Ability and desire to work as part of a team, and with people of diverse backgrounds
Willingness to assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects as they arise
Ability to drive a vehicle. Must maintain a current, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for bank insurance purposes
