Responsibilities

Integrate innovative translational molecular imaging strategies and novel diagnostic agents to study cardiovascular disease in vivo
Investigate the biology of pulmonary embolism and the inflammatory response that drives associated sequelae, including pulmonary fibrosis
Utilize single cell/nuclear analysis, translational imaging – CT, US, intravital fluorescence, mouse genetics, and molecular biology techniques

Required

A recent or pending Ph.D. with experience in cardiovascular disease, molecular imaging, biomedical engineering research, or related fields
Background in CT, ultrasound, and fluorescence imaging techniques
Proficient in molecular and cell biology techniques
Experience in small animal imaging and handling techniques
Experience in cardiovascular small animal models with survival surgical skills
Experience in image analysis
Demonstrated productivity in the form of publications and presentations
Scientific creativity to identify novel approaches to answer our research questions
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A desire to work and collaborate in a scientifically rigorous laboratory environment
