Broadcom is looking for a Senior Engineer to join the VMware Cloud Foundation vSphere Supervisor team. This role is critical in advancing the seamless integration of Kubernetes with VMware Cloud Foundation, driving technical direction, architecture, and implementation for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

Decompose large problems into detailed requirements, and develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers
Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the supervisor platform
Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code is aligned with Broadcom’s coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the management plane, the kubernetes workload clusters lifecycle, and their interfacing with other features such as storage, networking, etc

Required

Hands on experience with Container technologies (primarily Kubernetes)
Experience in scalable distributed systems in Go, C++, or Java
Proven knowledge of systems design
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with ability to work independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical fields and 8+/6+ years of related experience in the software industry
Must have legal authorization to work in the US
