The Field Service Lead Engineer will be responsible for constructing, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing RF/microwave products and electro-mechanical devices, requiring extensive travel for equipment installation and testing at overseas locations.

Responsibilities

Perform difficult electronic, mechanical and technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing & maintaining electronic and mechanical equipment, microwave products, electro-mechanical components, devices and systems

Work from schematics, engineering drawings, wire lists, written or verbal instructions

Conduct testing of RF and Digital systems

Oversee a small team to install and test equipment at remote locations

Operate related electronic and mechanical equipment necessary to construct, test, process, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specific products or equipment

Recommend changes or modifications to improve the operation or the quality of electronic or mechanical products and equipment

Determines methods, operations and sequences in setting procedures for constructing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing processing, and modifying electronic and mechanical products and equipment as required

Basic computer skills: Microsoft Window O/S, loading software, network systems, Linux, PLSs

AutoCAD proficiency a plus

Associates degree in related technology or equivalent technical training, plus ten (10) years related experience or the combination of training and related experience equal to ten (10) years
