The role involves overseeing and managing the coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on projects, collaborating with project managers and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure compliance with design documents and building codes.

Responsibilities
Review and interpret MEP drawings and specifications to identify potential conflicts or design issues
Provide technical guidance to MEP subcontractors on installation methods, material selection, and quality control
Set guidelines and procedures to verify compliance with design documents and building codes
Coordinate with other departments, such as VDC team, to ensure proper integration of MEP systems
Manage MEP subcontractors, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring
Develop and maintain MEP project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones
Track MEP costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
Address and resolve MEP related issues that arise during the project
Perform quality checks on MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
Prepare reports on MEP system performance and project status
Maintain frequent communication with Project Manager and project team, architects, and other stakeholders
Conduct regular meetings with MEP subcontractors to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions
Participate in all project and team meetings as required
Perform all other duties as assigned that may not be listed here
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a Senior-level project management role focused in MEP scopes, or minimum 10-15+ years of experience working in a project management role focused in MEP scopes
10-15 years of experience on commercial construction projects
Positive attitude and eagerness to embrace new technology and tools in the industry
Ability to lead, and the desire to teach and mentor Project Engineers and Field employees
