Responsibilities
Shows sound knowledge and proficiency in the use of diagnostic Ultrasound techniques (both fixed and mobile) to assist in the diagnosis of patient disorders
Demonstrates competence when performing other related functions
ACR recognized registry must be attained within 12 months of hire, as required by ACR to maintain proper accreditation of the department
Active registry status must be maintained
Weekend rotation and stand-by rotation is expected of all permanently hired staff
Qualification
Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(ARRT-R) Radiography
(RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Vocational School Graduate
ACR recognized registry must be attained within 12 months of hire, as required by ACR to maintain proper accreditation of the department
Active registry status must be maintained
Weekend rotation and stand-by rotation is expected of all permanently hired staff
